“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.” (Psalm 33:12)
It is without question that America is one of the most prolific countries—if not the most prolific country—in the entire world. The idea that a country could enjoy this amount of prosperity in less than 250 years is no coincidence; since the inception of America, God has always been at the forefront. One of the main reasons America was founded was on the principle of religious freedom—to serve God freely without censorship or fear of reprisal. It is not by coincidence that the countries with God’s children are the most prosperous and under attack by Satanic doctrines.
Unfortunately, we live in a world today where America, which was once “one nation, under God,” has begun to further itself away from God. Understand this: our relationship with God as a nation is the reason for our prosperity, and the moment the motherland turns her back on Him, there will be great dangers in the future. While this may sound prophetic, this is what has already been written, yet many people do not believe it although it is being revealed before our very eyes.
“And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
[7] For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
[8] All these are the beginning of sorrows.”
(Matthew 24:7-8)
We live in a society that is plagued with wars, rumors of wars, famines, diseases, earthquakes and other natural disasters more recently than at any point in our history. God has warned us that these things will happen. Many people are seeking to try and save the world when in actuality the world is dying by our own hands. While it may sound gloomy, we are seeking to save a world that is beyond saving, and there is only one who can save us: our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Instead of focusing on the earth, we should shift our focus to denouncing our own sins, accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior, learning who the one true God is, and warning others of the consequences of being separated from God. Sadly, most people who die are not “resting in peace,” and the main reason is because their loved one(s) were too afraid to tell them the truth but instead became complicit in their desire to affirm feelings over facts. God has already ordained to us what is the truth; everything else is a lie.
Those who uphold the commandments of God the Father, spoken through Jesus, will have everlasting life (John 12:50). Those who continue to serve man and the world will perish for rejecting the truth which has already been written in our hearts. No man can serve God and mammon (Matthew 6:24).
Personally, I wish there was another way: but God’s word is bond and He has already decreed it as the only truth. It is going to happen, no matter what we may try to do. As a matter of fact, the more we try to go against His word, the more repercussions there may be.
The Revealing Nature of Politics
It is 2024 and thus it is an election year for America. While we all have our opinions on politics, there is one thing I believe that is true: a better America is one that supports what is written in God’s word. Some may disagree with this, but history has shown this to be the case. The more closely aligned we are as a nation with God’s word, the more prosperous we are as a nation. Today’s political environment is riddled with identity politics, false accusations, corrupt government, and an agenda that is openly against God. If a candidate speaks policy that is not in support of God’s will, then they are not best for America.
“He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.” (Matthew 12:30)
“Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
[34] O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.”
(Matthew 12:33-34)
The “indivisible” nation of America is no longer in its former glory. In recent decades, we have been separated on major issues for years due to the wiles of Satan. From abortions to same-sex marriages, a Satanic agenda has now spearheaded conversations instead of the glory of God. For any Christian who is following politics, you need to evaluate your dedication to becoming one with the Father and ask yourself a few questions:
- Do my views on hot topic issues align with God’s word?
- Does the candidate I support adopt policies that are pro-God?
- Does the party I support publicly glorify God, or is His name simply used as a salutation or valediction?
- What are the “fruits” that my political affiliation/candidate has done to glorify God?
Politics is consistently likened to a “machine.” While machines do not have souls, the people who operate them do. It is those people who operate the “machine” that will be judged by God. Politics are used to create division. While the ideals between Republicans, Democrats, and Independents may be different, there are sinners on all sides of the spectrum who use their political affiliation for their own personal gain. However, a line in the sand is being drawn: either we will choose to be with God, or we stand against Him. Whenever there are policies in support of a Satanic agenda, it is critical that we rebuke it and give it to God. There are no other options.
The world has been in support of condemning Christian values when it was those same values that made America prosperous. Make no mistake, Christians will be persecuted far more in the times to come—this is the beginning of sorrows. It is important to understand that we should not be afraid when the end times approach us, for God will protect those who love and fear Him:
“The fear of the Lord tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.”
(Proverbs 19:23)
The fear of the Lord will cause us to critically examine our own sinful behaviors and analyze which perspectives we may hold that are not aligned to God’s will. There is a reason we are told to “deny ourselves” and follow Christ; our beliefs are not like Jesus’ beliefs (Luke 9:23; Matthew 16:24). When we align ourselves to have the mind of Christ, then we are aligning ourselves to also inherit the mind of God (1 Corinthians 2:16). Only then is it possible to make sound policies that are in favor of the greater good for all people, even if many choose to follow the lies cultivated by Satan.
Creating Idols Out of Politicians
America was built on the founding principle that we are “one nation, under God,” not under any particular politician. People either forget or do not understand that our Father is a jealous God and will not have His glory given to another (Exodus 34:14, Isaiah 42:8). This is clearly expressed in God’s First Commandment:
“Thou shalt have no other gods before me” (Exodus 20:3)
“I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
[7] But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
[8] Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.” (Psalm 82:6-8)
When we make idols out of politicians or policies, we offend God. Oftentimes, we rank man before Him, when it was Him who allowed those candidates into positions of power and authority. It was God Himself who placed His own Son, Jesus Christ, into a position of power and authority when he named him the appointed heir of all things (Hebrews 1:2, Matthew 28:18). If this is true for Jesus, the same is certainly true for any man that was born by natural means.
The media works in overtime to achieve this. Depending on which agenda they are pushing, they will create an image—an idol—of either political opponent. But the question to ask is: which candidate or policies are for God? Which candidate or policies are more aligned with God’s will? We have the free will to vote, but our intentions and motives for voting are much more important than the actual vote itself. Are we voting for a candidate that supports God, or are we coming into agreement with a covenant that is against God? Are we voting for a candidate based on their ability to do God’s will, or are we voting for a candidate in order to further our own sinful behaviors? Remember, it is ultimately the intentions of the heart by which we are judged by God, not man.
Instead of idolizing man, we should give the glory to God and ask Him to do His will through candidates and authority figures. Under no circumstances should a person’s name be announced more than God. The moment these things begin to happen, God will make it very clear to us who is in charge, for it is the Father who seeks many to worship Him (John 4:23).
Both sides of the political spectrum are guilty of this. Many Republicans in 2024 are guilty of idolizing Donald Trump; likewise many Democrats are guilty of idolizing Kamala Harris. No matter which side, if any, you support, one thing is true:
God’s will shall be done, and it is He who will appoint whoever He declares to be the next President of the United States.
And our job as Christians, no matter who wins the presidency, is to pray that our leaders become closer to God so they may be granted wisdom to do His will instead of their own.
“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
[2] For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
[3] For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
[4] Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:1-4)
Amen.
